My biggest two strengths as an attorney are my knowledge of all parts of the criminal justice system, and my genuine care and concern about every client that I represent.
When I am first meeting with a client or their family, the biggest fear people have is the unknown:
I have found over the past 12 years of handling criminal cases that the best thing I can do when meeting a client for the first time is to find out what happened, and to clearly explain the steps of the criminal process. By doing this, the level of fear comes down and we can begin making a plan on how to handle the situation. There are a number of things that a client can do to improve their case and achieve a better outcome.
The handling of a criminal case is a step by step process. We cannot focus on the final outcome until we have put all of our efforts into each and every step along the way. My experience as a defense attorney, prosecutor, and Pro Tem judge has given me a unique perspective on how to work a case. I analyze the strengths and weaknesses of both sides, talk my client through the possible outcomes, and work towards the best possible resolution for that person.
All of my consultations are free because I believe that everyone charged with a crime deserves the opportunity to meet with an experienced attorney who can answer their questions, and give them advice on how to proceed. If you or someone you love is facing criminal charges, please call me to set up an appointment right away.
