My case involved a traffic accident while under the influence, as well as possession of something bad. They had my blood and I was totally busted. I had called several attorneys before speaking to Alex at Wheeler Boyd. The first attorneys I spoke with told that pleading guilty and falling at the mercy of the court was my best option. When I told Alex this, he immediately told me that he may be able to help me and that those attorneys weren't correct. He said a charge reduction and dismissal were a possibility. As we went through the legal process, Alex promptly answered any questions I had, many of witch were after hours and variables that potentially made my case more difficult to defend. His verbiage was always supportive and optimistic. He was honest. Never overpromised but was confident in his ability to help me. More importantly, the results. He used his contacts and obvious skills to have my one charge reduced and another pending dismissal. Along the way, I have spoken to endless people in my situation and every last single time, my outcome was far more favorable. A blessing. I literally got a break. A second chance. You must make sure to ask for Alex in particular as I can't vouche for any other attorney as he was one that worked magic. Lastly, I will mention the cost. Totally in the same realm other attorneys were charging and he allowed me payments. The cost is a fraction of what greater consequences would have cost me both in time and money. After my DUI arrest, I was offered legal services while being processed through Clark County. I chose an attorney "blindly," from numbers provided by the attending officer. Thank God I ended up with Alex. Alex met with me before I was released from Clark County. He was thorough and professional. He made me feel like a respectable human being during a stressful and embarrassing situation, following a terrible decision on my part. I met Alex at his office the day after my release. He explained the process I was about to go through in very great detail. The amount of information and the steps needed to deal with the situation would have been overwhelming to me while dealing with family and professional life. Alex never left me wanting for information, or without the confidence that every detail was taken care of. Alex managed to "win" my WA DOL administrative hearing, saving me potentially thousands of dollars. He setup and guided me through all of the necessary actions required by the criminal court. I would have had no idea how to proceed without his guidance. If that wasn't enough...I received an errant license suspension letter from the state of Washington sometime after I had met all of the compliance requirements laid out for me. I contacted Alex again, having no idea how to resolve the issue. He sorted it out immediately and kept me informed every step of the way. He again saved me countless hassles and potentially thousands of dollars. I highly recommend Alex and his entire team. I got pulled over and arrested. I insisted on calling my traffic ticket attorney, and they didn't answer, and they didn't call me back. So there I am, in the police station with two grumpy cops. The state trooper handed me a list and said choose somebody. Well, isn't that grand... clock is ticking, I need advice and I'm picking a number at random from a list of people I don't know. Make no bones about it, as a guy not used to being in the legal system, this process sucks. You are going to hate it. Do yourself a favor and get the best help you can with your driving or DUI legal issue. Call Alex. Save your sanity. Get a real pro to help you through every single step of the process. I was guided through it so I had good opportunities to do what the court mandated, with as little hassle as possible. Like I said, it's gonna suck, but a great lawyer helps it suck less. Alex has been available, responsive, kind, calm, and helpful through this whole mess, and helped me get a more reasonable sentence and penalty even though I allowed myself to get into a pickle. He's still working for me, now helping me get back property that was seized when I was arrested. Well worth the fee, which, frankly is not any more than other lawyers. Lawyers aren't cheap, but bad lawyers are really expensive. Don't be stupid. Think about consequences of your actions. It's easy to get carried away and not think smart... So if you mess up, keep your mouth shut and get the best help you can, and that's Alex. It's coming up on 5 months. From the first call from the police station late at night to today, every time I have called or emailed Alex, he has been absolutely on top of things and he did everything he said he would.

About a year ago I was charged with a DUI, and at that time I felt so low and so hopeless I was in a total panic. Precision is the most accurate word to describe Alex. Excellent Communication from start to finish, and his work resulted in a completely mind-blowing outcome for what was a terrible situation. I am so glad I took the time to do a lot of research in securing counsel. I cannot say enough good things about Alex, and this firm. They saved me from losing my recently renewed license status. My driving status was probably one of the most clustered, confusing, no hope situations you could have. They were my new hope. When the sheriff offered an attorney for me, Alex was the one who was called and luckily he had answered. I had another friend that’s an attorney in OR recommending him as well. I was initially charged with a DUI and had a DOL hearing due to denying the breathalyzer. I had two court cases, one for the criminal charge and one for my civil one with WA. Due to my car being safely parked, Alex was able to use the defense of being safely off the roadway. The prosecutor for my dui court case luckily offered to dismiss my charge before my preliminary, and the judge for my dol case dismissed it as well with the same defense my attorney used. Alex was realistic on my situation with the goal being to get both my cases dismissed. He walked me through the process, explained why this was the best defense to use after reviewing all of the evidence received, and explaining his goal for my situation. He answered all of my questions and had his best intentions for me. He was easy to reach and was always on time with our scheduled phone calls. Alex was also readily fast at responding to my emails and/or his legal assistant Stacey. I felt supported and felt that Alex always did his best to get my cases dismissed, which amazingly happened. He explained to me the judges I had assigned to both cases, as some are more fair and understanding than others, and made sure I didn’t have my judges switched as both assigned were great judges to have. I appreciated his help and reassurance in everything, explaining the process to me, fighting hard for the best possible outcome while also being logical and realistic with me. I also appreciate the reasonable flat rate and being informed that it wasn’t within a specific timeframe and that I can always reach out to him after everything ended.

I don’t normally write reviews, but they really saved my hide. I was charged with a DUI and a hit and run, Andrew and Alex went to bat for me and got it reduced to a reckless driving charge and a few days community service. When I first talked to them they explained best and worst case scenarios and they actually exceeded the best scenario also getting all fines dropped. And their secretary Stacy was very helpful every time I called. I highly recommend them
