I began my journey with the criminal court system in Clark County as a law student in June 2024 and joined Wheeler Boyd in November 2025. Prior to my role as a defense attorney, I worked as a prosecutor in Clark County District Court under my Rule 9 license as an intern. During that time, I handled hundreds of criminal matters prosecuting misdemeanors and gross misdemeanor charges. This experience provided me with valuable insight into the dynamics and course of misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor cases in Clark County. I now handle exclusively DUI’s and related criminal traffic matters in District Court, as well as the administrative side of these matters with the Washington Department of Licensing.
I initially decided to pursue a career in law during my undergraduate education at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota, where I studied Global Communications and Media Studies. This is where I discovered my passion for advocacy and developed my skills in public speaking. Following my undergraduate education, I moved to Portland, Oregon, where I began my legal education at Lewis & Clark Law School. During that time, I continued to develop my oral advocacy skills, receiving recognition as “Best Oral Advocate” during my 1L year, and subsequently participating in Lewis & Clark’s esteemed Environmental Moot Court program during my 2L and 3L year. I began my role as a Rule 9 Licensed Legal Intern the summer after my 2L year, where I further improved my advocacy skills representing the State of Washington in Clark County District Court criminal hearings in all stages of a criminal case. I graduated from Lewis & Clark Law School with a certificate in Environmental Law with distinction in May 2025 and passed the Oregon Bar Exam that summer. Subsequently, I began the transfer process to be licensed to practice law in Washington and joined Wheeler Boyd to begin my career as an attorney.
I take pride in and value every person’s individual differences and unique circumstances, striving to treat every criminal case the same way – understanding no two cases or the people involved are the same and therefore deserve individualized attention and care.
